In order to embrace and compete effectively in the new technology of Digital Audio Broadcasting - DAB. Crystal sought to design and develop a new portable after market system that can be used both in the car and home/office.

The PCB structure was already designed so the main task was to design a new skin with a sleek look and feel, that is easy to use, durable and highly portable.
